The Mackay built 49er has won the last eight World Championship titles and has been part of Olympic medal glory since the Class’s inception into the Olympic Games event in 2000.

Designed by Julian Bethwaite, the 49er is an evolution of the International 14’s and Aussie 18’s. The 49er has been sailed in every Olympics since 2000.

"Fast" just got redefined at the 2021 Moth Worlds with the Mackay built Bieker Moth being the choice of boat sailed by the top six.
