The award winning, Sailing World Boat of the Year (2017), the VX Evo, gives many an individual sailor the ride of their lives. However, for some the boat can be pretty full on…well…up until now.
By adding 10 kg’s / 22 lbs. of lead to the bottom of the VX Evo’s centreboard, the boat’s righting moment has increased, creating greater stability in terms of being easier to sail, less tippy and, easier to launch and retrieve from the water.
Like the VX One, the VX Evo will still sail like a skiff but now has a hybrid centreboard/keel that can be lifted in and out of the boat like a standard centreboard.
If you love single-handed sailing in a boat that offers asymmetric gennaker sailing, lively acceleration, speed, and is tripped out with advanced technology to make sailing super easy, then it doesn’t get any better than the VX Evo.
